Prior: Chev. Wm. R. Colby-Newton, GOTJ

Chancellor Colby-Newton is a software Test Engineer who currently works at a health-care insurance company. He was Knighted in 1999, when the Commandery of the Holy Grail was raised to Priory status. He served on the Executive Committee under MAJ Chev. Leo J. Philben, GOTJ, and has served as Chancellor under two Priors, Prior Franklin Martin, GOTJ, and CPT Chev. Timothy P. Blaeser, KCTJ. Chancellor: Chev. Robert J. Fassino, GOTJ

Chancellor Robert J. Fassino is a Director of Photography specializing in HD videography for broadcast, documentary and commercial projects. His clients include Discovery Channel, PGA Tour Productions, MLB Network and ESPN. Robert’s interest in a contemporary expression of the legendary Knights Templar led him to the Sovereign Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem, and investiture as a Knight of the Priory of the Holy Grail. He and is wife of twenty one years have a single, dynamic, and worldly engaged son who is studying History and Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Go Badgers! Chaplin: Fr. Chev. Michael P. Forbes, CGTJ, GMTJ

Fr. Forbes is a native of New York, and holds a BA in Philosophy with a major in Classical Languages from St. Pius X College Seminary, Graymoor, N. Y. He studied at St. Bernard's and Bexley Hall, Rochester, NY. He received the degree of M. Div. with a second major in Historical Theology. Fr. Forbes undertook Clinical Pastoral Education at the the University of Rochester Medical School and at the Mayo Clinic. He holds Advanced Standing in the Associatioon for Clinical Pastoral Education. He was Ordained Deacon in 1975 and priest in 1976.

Fr. Forbes has served a number of parishes in the tri- state area and has done post graduate work in Liturgics at Seabury- Western Theological Seminary and Church History and the interface of liturgics and pastoral care as a Rossiter Fellow. Besides parish ministry, Father Forbes has engaged in Liturgical Ministry and ministry with the disabled at the Diocesan and National levels and worked in Jewish Christian dialogue. Fr. Forbes has served as Examining Chaplain in Church History in the Diocese of Minnesota.

Fr. Forbes also holds certificates as a Master Gardener in Minnesota and is a Certified Pool/Spa Operator.

In the Order, Fr. Forbes became a Knight in the Priory of Our Lady of Sorrows of the West in 1998 and was a founder of the Priory of the Holy Grail. He was raised to the rank of Grand Cross on Sept. 5. 2003. He received the Order of the Holy Spirit on the same day. He has received several decorations.

Father Forbes has served as Associate Grand Chaplain, Priory Chaplain and Priory Inspector. He is a member of the Corps of Chaplains. Father Forbes has published a number of works for the Church and has created the system of books used for ceremonial in the Priory of the Holy Grail. With his wife he designed, and she executed the Priory flag. In 1971 he married Louise Gertrude Glass. She is a Dame Commander of the Order. They have two grown Children. Email Chaplin Forbes

Inspector and Assistant Chaplin: Rev. Chev. Theodore J. Neuhaus, D.Arts, GOTJ

The Rev. Theodore J. Neuhaus, D.Arts, GOTJ, joined the Priory of the Holy Grail in 2001. He was educated at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with his major being medieval history – and interest that he still pursues today as a member of the Center for Medieval Studies at the University of Minnesota. Ted is an Episcopal priest who has served parishes in Minnesota, Germany, New York, and Massachusetts; he is now retired from parish ministry. He is also a member of the Society of Friends of St. George and the Descendents of the Knights of the Garter, Windsor Castle, in the United Kingdom. He resides in St. Paul with his cat, HM Penelope II, Queen of Ithyca. He serves the Priory as both a Chaplain and the honorable Secretary. Email Chaplin Theadore Neuhaus

Secretary: Dame Marcy Pollmann

Dame Marcy Pollmann Graduated from St. Mary’s Junior College - Licensed as Registered Nurse in 1968. She worked as a Registered Nurse from 1968- 1988 as Emergency Room Nurse. In 1988 Marcy moved to Rockford, IL for change in her husband’s job where she was a stay at home mom for 6 years.

1995 – Purchased MicroPure Filtration with husband. Became the Secretary/Treasurer of the company and took on all accounting duties along with everyday business (filling orders etc.)

1996 – Moved our business and family back to the Minneapolis area. Have continued working at MicroPure with Bob for the past 15 years.

Joined the Knights Templar with Bob in 1996. We have belonged to so many organizations on our own. This was a change to do something interesting and fun together. Belonging to our Priory has led to many wonderful friends and many great memories. Email Dame Marcy Pollman
